My Favourite Cocktail by Jackie Collins
My favourite cocktail has to be the Jackie Collins, created by the master of all things culinary, Wolfgang Puck. It is the most delicious drink, and quite easy to make. Just fire up a combination of raspberries, simple syrup, vodka and lemonade, and put it all in a blender with plenty of ice. For the full recipe take a peek at my cookbook, “The Lucky Santangelo Cookbook.” You will also find the Venus Bellini—so good, and Lucky’s Killer Margarita—even better!!
It was so much fun creating a cookbook inspired by my favourite character, Lucky Santangelo. I have written seven books about Lucky, and still my readers clamour for more, because Lucky is a woman who does things her way. She is strong and invincible, beautiful and savvy. In fact she is the full package. So . . . . if you want to get into a Lucky frame of mind, drink one of the cocktails from “The Lucky Santangelo Cookbook”!
One of my other favourite cocktails is the Asian Pear Martini which they serve at “Rock Sugar” in L.A. It is one of those drinks that you can’t get enough of and, paired with the amazing Indonesian food at “Rock Sugar”, you will find yourself getting very happy indeed!
And then there is the famous Lychee Martini at Mister Chow’s in Beverly Hills. Magical! Accompanied by chicken satay or baby spare ribs.
Okay, before I sound like a total drunk I am off to fix myself a Jackie Collins by Wolfgang Puck!
Have fun at the bar!
